Asher Ayres

I joined N-Compass in 2008 as a volunteer while I was studying ‘Working with Young People in the Community’ in higher education. Six months later I secured my first paid role, and I have since delivered several roles across our services while progressing in my career as a manager.

Much of my N-Compass career has been with our Carers Services and I’ve had the privilege of presenting our best practice and significant successes to national audiences on several occasions.

As Services Director I oversee all our service delivery; working with our teams in collaboration with commissioners and other key stakeholders to implement, deliver and develop quality, innovative and impactful services to people in the communities we support. I use my knowledge and experience of our organisation and services, the third sector, and health & social care services and systems to help lead our journey of continuous improvement and growth.

I believe N-Compass is a truly special organisation to work for, where employees are valued, supported and invested in. I feel lucky to work alongside so many inspiring and passionate colleagues who share the same PRIDE values as myself. I am proud of the work we do and the outcomes we achieve.

Alongside my role at N-Compass I am a Nominated Governor for Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust representing the third sector.
