Connect 5 Training
NHS

Connect 5 is a short training course that focusses on what helps (& what hinders) conversations about mental wellbeing. It also offers signposting options for support with mental wellbeing. The Connect 5 content is helpful to both work and personal lives of attendees.

Training sessions are currently available in both half-day (3 hours) or fuIl-day (6 hours) options. The content is delivered in an engaging way that avoids attendees being put on the spot but also gently invites participation. It is delivered with a mixture of power-point (minimal content), video (short clips) and group discussions (no role-plays) and is available virtually via Microsoft Teams or face-to-face.

As Connect 5 has been commissioned by Lancs and South Cumbria ICB, there is NO COST for any Connect 5 courses delivered by N-Compass.

Thank you for this training today, I found it excellent and very appropriate. I have definitely picked up more skills and awareness of mental health and wellbeing. It has given me more confidence in speaking to patients in my job.

The trainer was very engaging and had a good balance of delivering/speaking and interaction/group works. I have definitely learned something new about Health + Wellbeing and shall use in work & personal life. Thankyou :).

Really enjoyed the course. Some course I find my listening skills fade. Not today! Brilliant.

Very well delivered and easy to understand concepts. Very knowledgeable facilitator who made us all feel comfortable.

Peer Supporter

Really enjoyed this course. Easy to understand. Very knowledgeable tutor, presented well. Good group dynamics as a result. I will take lots away with me. I would very much encourage others to do this course. I have done a number of these 'type' of courses, but this was the best to-date. Thanks Neil
