Who Is A Young Carer?

A young carer is someone under 18 who helps look after someone in their family who couldn’t manage without their support. This might involve helping with everyday tasks, offering emotional support, or managing medication and appointments.

Lots of young carers don’t realise they’re carers, they just think they’re helping out, like any family member would. But what you do really matters, and you deserve support too.
