At n-compass we are proud of our culture, something which we have built over several years. Each year we launch an online employee engagement survey providing colleagues with a chance to hold up a mirror and tell us how they see and experience n-compass. The surveys allow us to identify what colleagues most value about working here and to identify issues so that we can introduce improvements.

In October 2022 we launched our eighth survey and an impressive 86% of staff took part! The survey we use is Best Companies and we were thrilled to hear that we had been awarded 2 Star Best Companies accreditation, signifying that we provide 'outstanding' levels of workplace engagement.

The survey also allows us to benchmark our results against other not for profit and medium sized organisations both regionally and nationally.

This year, it was announced that we had also been included in three of the Best Companies to Work For in the UK lists. In Q1 we ranked-

  • 3rd best charity to work for in the UK.
  • 9th best mid-sized place to work for in the UK.
  • 11th best place to work for in the Northwest.
