I have been a member of the leadership team at the Institute of Cancer Research, London for fourteen years, initially as HR Director and more recently as Chief Operating Officer, where a key part of the role was liaison with cancer research funding bodies. I left the ICR in early 2016 to relocate to the North West and now live in Lancashire.
For the past four years I was the ICR’s nominated Governor on the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust’s Governing Body. I have an MSc in HR Management and I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Prior to joining the ICR I spent over 20 years in healthcare management in NHS in south west London. I am also a trustee of the National Cancer Research Institute and the Battle Against Cancer Investment Trust Foundation, a grant giving charity.
